I Broke My Brake Calipers

i was goin down 14th street a while ago, no one was around so i decided to go fast, well i went a little to fast, as i came closer to the lights it turns red and there were some cars wating to turn.. at this point im goin 180 and i didnt have much room to stop :( ... i stopped at the light but after the breakes wouldent kick in till the pedal was almst at the floor. My poor brakes there out of round now :rofl:

i doubt that your calipers are broken, it could be something else.

Oh and to help you, if you're breaks are out of round just from slamming on them once, buy better breaks next time. And your caliper's should be fine, you may have burnt up your pads tho.

You probably warped your brake rotors...... you either need to get them machined or get some better rotors.....in either case not to smart to be going 180km/hr on 14St....espcially with the new increased fines.

I had a Crack in 2 of my Rotors a couple months ago. Front Right AND left rear, messed up.

You probably boiled the brake fluid over something fierce. Try bleeding the brakes and see if it helps. And then park the car and never drive it again, for the safety of everyone else on the road.
