Lions Are Fed Donkeys In Baghdad Zoo

This video, taken recently at a zoo in Baghdad, show nine lions attacking, killing, and eating 2 donkeys in front of a crowd of onlookers. This seems to be common practice in Iraqi zoos as is seen in this 2005 article from the St. Petersburg Times.

"Donkeys," Lawrence Anthony says. "I send people out to buy donkeys, three a day if we can find them. With 19 lions, it takes three donkeys a day."
