It's already here. It's marketed as the CSX-S.

Im pretty sure Richards right. US gets the Civic Si sedan while we get the CSX. Same car except the CSX is more luxury orientated, navi, leather, bit bulkier as well.

It's the exact same chassis as the Civic (shared platform same as the Civic and EL). The CSX is pretty well a Japanese Civic with the center "Acura" line that runs from the front bumper to the rear.

You're right about everything else regarding it though :)

Canada will be getting the Civic SI sedan in 2008. ALso good news is all backorders for the Civic SI coupe are being filled by March 2007. Anyone interested in the SI coupe should check out T&T Honda who has a brand new Red SI available.

Where did you get this info on the 08 si sedan? That would make more sense in Canada as oppose to the $35K acura civic :thumbsdow

so the CSX-S is exactly same as Si Sedan? Same drivetrain (6-sp, LSD) and same motor? Except with leather and luxury goodies.

It has some other goodies/options like HID and Nav and leather but powertrain is exactly the same.

You know what, I'll wait for an official announcement. I was told by salemen that there will be a 07 Civic Si Sedan as well and guess what happened?

Let me take a wild guess, they lied?! Woo...that's a first for them. :D

I might actually buy a sedan if they ever came out here with the Si trim. I actually prefer the lines on the 4-door more than the 2-door coupe.

I highly doubt they'd re-release the same car as a Honda after they already produced it as an Acura. It's like competing with themselves.

What like the CSX and the Civic?

the csx is way overpriced and will not attract people that are looking for a performance oriented sedan. Those guys will buy a tsx.

they should drop the csx and have the Si sedan. I would def check that out.
