theory of a deadman
etc.

disgrace to music if you ask me. no thought in their song-writing, just a bunch of 'tortured rocker' wannabe crap to make money.

I wonder what that makes us who like those bands?
At least some of the songs are good like any other group!
Personally I'd rather hear any of them as opposed to the likes of Mick Jaggered which I grew up on! :)

they are simple, and catchy songs that get stuck in your head, GOLD for record companies. in moderation i can tollerate a few of them, but the feild is SATURATED with the same 604records style music, and has been for a couple years. since the music industry is cyclical, w/i a couple years you probably won't hear another thing from these bands, they will just be replaced by another over marketed band.

for a further example, notice how right at the turn of the century, rap rock was huge, now its nickle back style. another example is pop-punk that then turned into emo.
