I don't really want to, but it's necessary for me to sell my car. I'm going to be starting an apprenticeship as a heavy-duty technician in the near future and it will be more practical to own a truck to carry my tools in. I don't have the money to keep both a truck and my car so here's the details:
- 1991 Toyota Celica GT-S
- 5 speed
- 210'242 kms on chassis
- Roughly 190'000 kms on 5SFE
- Red Exterior
- Dark Grey Interior
- Power Windows
- Power Locks
- Power Sunroof
- Power Mirrors
- Power Driver's Seat (Lumbar Adjust)
- System 10 Stereo w/ JVC deck & Alpine amp
The engine blew in the car shortly after I bought it, yeah… What I thought was a minor knock turned out to be a spun connecting rod bearing which seized the entire engine when I was driving up a very steep hill. I got a used 5SFE out of Frosty66's 1991 MR2 when he swapped his 3SGTE in. It has taken me a long time to get the car completed, as I wasn't expecting the car to crap on me so my wallet was a bit skinny.
I figured once the car was in my garage having the new engine put in, I would fix everything that I could find wrong with the car. So here is the list of new parts that I've bought for it:
- sway bar end links ($80 each)
- sway bar bushings ($8 each)
- power steering pump ($120)
- power steering pressure line ($50)
- front brake calipers ($60 each, reman.)
- rear brake pads ($40 for the set)
- rear parking brake shoes ($32 for one shoe, there's 4)
- parking brake springs, pins, and shoes ($50 for all)
- both side, and middle parking brake cables ($120 for all :D)
- parking brake cable connector ($16)
- both rear brake lines ($120 for both)
- main pressure and return fuel lines ($180 for both)
- 5SFE ($200 thanks Darren  )
I've under estimated all the prices, I know they're more but I don't want to guess and exact number before I look at the receipts. All the receipts are sitting behind me in a filing cabinet somewhere, but only my bookkeeper (mom) knows where exactly they are.
Now for the pictures, they are from when I bought the car but seeing as the car has not changed one bit aesthetically since I bought it, I'll just use them.

I will get more pictures, I'm wrapping up a few minor things on the car, and then I'm taking it in for a full detailing job, tune up, and even an inspection.
Looking at the current market for these cars, considering the parts I bought do not add value as they're considered maintenance, and the rip in the seat, I'm going to toss up the price of $5'500 OBO. That includes me driving the car to you, but for $100 less you can come get it yourself.
