Looking for feedback on an unusual concept in subwoofer enclosures.

All modifications designed and built at The Snake Pit Mobile Electronics Training School.

The assembly consists of 3 independent wheels with 6 subwoofers on each wheel for a total of 18 subs. Each wheel is controlled independently through electric motors that allow them to turn in either direction at independent speeds.

Tired of the same old stuff and wanted to do something different for the most part, and never saw it done before...

looks different thats for sure.
a couple questions though:

How are they wired so that they can spin? assuming they can just keep spinning for forever and ever.

^ probably same way your steering wheel works, it runs on a ring connecter that has constant connection when its spinning.

Personally, not feeling it at all, but I'm sure it took a lot of work, so props for coming up with an innovative idea and putting in the time

Yep, steering wheel idea is pretty close,

It uses contact plates and electric motors to turm them, they spin at about 33rpm.

Big advantage is getting 18 subs in a relatively small area by using a complete circle of them,

Painfully loud! with the rear shell open there is a steady wind of air blowing when playing at full volume...

Sitting inside with all doors shut its the kind of loud that you feel in your stomach more than your ears! it hurts....

thats pretty much the worst thing ever made

no reason to have more than 1 sub. have 1 really huge one if you have to, but never 18.
