Nikon 400mm F2.8 lens

What do you think a

Nikon 400mm F2.8 manual focus lens is worth?

Any help would be great

Well .. it is hard to say worth it or not .. new AF one is like $10K or so ?

SO .. if you can find a good deal on a used one, is not bad.

I have no problem for manual focus lens, but some people hate it.
Even the AF version, if without AF-S, will be slow in focus as well, unless you hv F100/F5 or D2X those pro body.

This is one credit for Nikon user .. instead of spending $10K on a super tele (Canon) can buy some older great lens for much less $$.

I will say go for it! if you can find one! they are hard to find anyway! :thumbsup:
