what a person needs to do is find the one most comfortable for themselves as they are all so close that the average rider on the street will not find a difference.

that said i voted gsxr 600

I don't think it's still around for 07. I think they are back to 600cc's..

There is no answer for this question.. It all depends on how the bike feels and looks to you.. If professional racers can't go and sweep a series on "such and such" a bike, you can't claim to have "thee best'.. Plus every review out there will pick different things about different bikes that are "the best"..

You sir, are correct. Just the ZX-6R.

They are all very nice bikes and you cnt go wrong with any of them, but I am bias so i gave my vote to the ZX6R. My 2nd choice would prob be the GSXR, then R6, and finally CBR.

I see most people are voting for the GSXR...any reason?

My votes goes to the CBR. Probaly one of the more uncomfortable to ride but the best preforming and most fun to ride.

the new 1098 is only 20k. not that much more than a R1, which costs 15k . . .

and ya whats with the GSXR600 ? its not even new for 07; it was all new last year...

i voted ZX6R GO GREEN !

Cause all teh n00bs buy them and spare parts are readily available from those crashed bikes!

I had an '06 Gixxer 600 and the bike was great, very easy to ride and very forgiving for any mistakes made.

I voted the R6 though just cause it is a little more track orientated than the Gixxer was.

Ducati doenst really have a good 600 imo, the closest one would be the Monster 650. Its a nice bike and all but just doenst fit into the same class as the bikes above.

25% more for just a name..no thanks! I'd take an R1 over almost any Ducati anyday

Well, you failed to mention the Triumph Daytona 675 in that poll, and it was voted numerous times as the best in 06, nothings changed in 07......But please don't buy one, I want it......

To each their own, but at least go and test ride one if you haven't already.

And I agree with the above. Another vote for the Daytona. Great bike.

As for the list above I would have to say 600rr, just b/c I found it the most comfortable position of the ones listed. But every rider is different. GSXR was the worst of the bunch IMO.

I second that, the new 600rr is uncomfortable and it still has the ugly tachometer on it for 2007.
R6 is the most comfortable and most aggressive of the 4 bikes.

Depends on the rider, but for me I find the R6 one of the most uncomfortable. As a taller rider I find my knees hit the 'ridge' of the tank, which really hurts after a while. Also won't let me tuck my knees in. :thumbsdow Just try them all out and see which you like best. All of them are great bikes and will provide excellent performance. It comes down to which feels best for you IMO.
