Just picked up a Jimmy and it's got pretty rusty fenders.
I know I read a post on here a long while ago, it was very detailed with pictures and everything with all the steps to fixing it. Sanding, Cutting, welding, bondo, repainting.

Does anyone know where it is? I've searched numerous times with no luck:(

Thanks guys

If you check the Calgary library (downtown) they have some decent bodywork books.

if the fenders are where the rust is buy some new fenders for like 120 each.

i would give up hope. There arnt enough hours in a year to try and fix that mess. however that is at the point where bondo is not going to help the situation. Like posted above, try and find some virgin fenders and do some surgery.

lol its offroad only

i just want to grind off all the rust, rust inhibit it so it doesnt spread more, then ill do some fabbing

the idiot who had it before put those fender flare things, by just drilling through everything... like he didnt expect it to rust??

Yeah I would just take a grinder to that then weld in a new ghetto panel and then por15 that shit.
