I'm looking into taking lessons sometime this summer, so far i only know of the one offered by calgary safety council at the University. Has anyone here taken lessons? Where did you take them? Were they worth it?
Post comments please

The Calgary Safety Council seems to be where most people are taking the lessons. However, I took mine at foothills drivers education. 3 hrs classroom training, plus 15 hrs of on-course training. I Highly recommend taking the training before you start riding. You learn how to ride defensively, plus the Insurance reduction is a bonus.

I'll tell you if they're good or not in a few weeks. :D

I enjoyed taking the saftey council course a few years back. They stress that they do not teach how to pass the class 6 course. But by the end of the course you are more than ready to take the driving test

Hopefully they give you full face helmets in the course you're taking. A friend of mine took one(not sure where) but they only gave them the egg helmets, well he fell off and fscked up his chin. Pretty funny actually heh.

Most provide a sorry little 250cc bike. Get your own helmet. Think bowling ball shoes... Even worse that it'll be on your head.

CSC provides bikes and helmets. Their bikes range from 100cc dirt bikes to 250cc cruisers.
