Which one would you say has the most true colours? I want to get one for my wife who does a lot of photo editing.

The Hansol, NEC, and Samsung all use 8-bit panels... so you'll get all 16.7 million colors for true color on those.

The NEC uses an IPS panel, which is said to provide the best color reproduction, but I find it comparable to the MVA/PVA 8-bit panels. But the NEC is also almost one inch smaller that the rest.

I guess the next deciding factor is if your wife's computer has has DVI.

Wow, actually ALL the monitors feature 8-bit true color panels.

I honestly thought that the BenQ used an el-cheapo 6-bit TN since the T905 used it, but upon further inspection of the unit, it looks to be using an 8-bit VA panel.

I can't tell if it's PVA or MVA, but it certainly has viewing angles and colors that no TN panel can have. This was a monitor that my old man was using, so I had no direct experience with it, hence my error.

These monitors were bought back in the day when the panels were still high quality... these days consumers all demand cheap cheap cheap, so manufacturers aren't using nice panels as much anymore.

What do you do that requires so many monitors? :dunno: Or just a general porn hobbist?

Anyways, just checking which ones are still left as of THIS message? Thx. :)

As of THIS message, the BenQ, NEC and Samsung are still here.

Well, aside from the fact that my home has 5 computers, I love having multiple monitors. My current computer that I'm typing on has three screens: two widesceen monitors and the Samsung 19" that I'm selling here.

Once you go mutli-monitor, you can't go back. Trust me. being a general porn hobbyist is another good reason though.
