I want to move a bike from Chilliwack to Calgary.
What are my options for hauling?
I dont have a vehicle with a hitch!
I dont own a pick up truck!

For those interested...it's a Kawasaki Nomad!(large)

So didn't go for the Softail? You chose...wisely...lol

I would just rent a truck from Hertz or Budget. Someone on case might have a ramp you could borrow too.

hehehe!

No I decided that I could keep the Marauder and still have a highway bike for me and the missus.

So any idea what I'd pay for a truck from those outfits?
Do U-haul have a motorcycle trailer for rent?

U-haul might be a good option. I can't find trucks available at Budget or Discount. Enterprise has smaller trucks like Dakotas and Canyons...would those fit?

rent a truck and buy that trailer of 78si and you will be good to go, plus it is handy to have the trailer if you plan taking the bike to the track or what ever.

If I take that option I would fly to Abbotsford and rent the truck out there.

What about a cargo van? you miht have to remove a few things but WAY cheaper then a Uhaul on fuel.

Or just hire a shipping company.
