The best part about the Chain Hang Low song is that it is a sample form an old, old song. In the 1800's, it was a racist song called something like Ol' Zip Coon. Of course it has evolved and became a kid’s song that is usually heard on Ice Cream Trucks. I don't know what is more ironic, the fact that it is an old KKK theme song, or that it now appeals most to 6 year olds. Either way, it only re-enforces the fact that Rap is officially dead. If you enjoyed these gems, try to find “King Kong in the Trunk”, pure quality. After listening to all this shit, try to find Dead Prez, Get Free or Die Tryin’ Mix Tape.
