Sound is late when watching a movie...

So i dwl'd a movie from torrents and the sound was there but the video wasnt, so i downloaded icm.xvid and it seemed to solve the problem but once the movie is 5 min in then the sound lags and its pissing me off...anyone know how i could solve this?

I dwl the latest codec and as far as vlc goes it didnt solve the problem! :banghead: thx for the help tho.

its most likely caused by a n00b encoder. You can set the audio delay with VLC to compensate
