It's a nice bike, but GT got bought out by the Pacific Group, and since then prices have plummeted on GT and Schwinn (which was also acquired). It sucks, but used GT/Schwinn bikes are not going for what they used to. Here's a free bump though.

nah man i only posted it here to see IF anyone wanted it, im really not lookin to sell it so yea, i just posted it to see if ppl's was intrested in it and its worth over 2200 and i dropped it to 1800... so yea wateva ya all think its koo.

I work at a bike shop. It doesn't matter if it would cost you $2500 to buy those parts brand new and build that bike up. The fact of the matter is, if that bike has been ridden at all, it isn't worth a penny more than $1200. That's just the way used bikes work.
Oh, and the fact that GT's parent company went under has nothing to do with the resale value of the bike.

ahah i dont care bout gt i only have the fram and the crans gt, i could care less... the bike is worth as it stands right now 1800.... regardless of were u work the fact is its 1800$ right now... lol

ok i spent 1600$$ just on parts and that was... hubs,forks,bars,pedals,grips,barends,stem,headset,spokes,nipples,rubber,chain tensioner,..... now there is the frame the seat the cranks brakes seat post, left that i havent yet got....if i keep the bike im puttin a new s&m frame on it..
