Yea pretty sweet looking car, it's about time VW brought back one of the original sport coupe's. Paired with the 3.2 VR from the R32 and a DSG tranny, and you've got a perfect combo :thumbsup:

the concept is twin charged, not likely to make it to production.
the car has been reported to be very close to production, i would bet that it would be a 2.0t engine with 250 hp or so. that's even if we would get since we don't get the r32 again.

highly doubt it will look that futuristic though, they wont want to scare everyone

That is the concept, and the production, which should be coming out in a few years I would assume, will look and be different because of the new management at VW wanting to changed the new designs such as canning the passat coupe [think merc cls]

vw already has the 30th edition gti with 230hp. i wouldn't be suprised if the iroc came with 250hp. i like it, i've also heard that it would be awd like the r32. so many rumors, the price........around 40k?? i'm 75% sure iit's going into production for 2008
