I am hoping someone could give me some advice about a place to repair my convertable roof.
I have a Z28 and the roof needs to be stitched around the back window. I would like to have it done professionally becuase I am hoping to sell it in the spring.
I had a couple of quotes last summer and the best I could find was $425. That just seems rediculous to me because it should, I think, just be a matter of taking it off and sticking it in a sewing machine.
So if anyone has any good ideas about were to take it I would be very appreciative.
Thanks.

Have you tried CR Techniques? They do good work on car upholstry.

I talked to them last year and if I remember correctly they were the best place I could find.

Am I out of line to think that sewing up a window should be cheaper then this?

Ya, I think I will have it done professionally. Sounds like a lot of trouble for something that will only cost 500.
