My water/elec bill went a little nuts this time. It usually hovers around 70-90 but it went past 100 this billing period.

3 bedroom townhouse.

Havn't got mine yet,

But my last one was just under $500. 2250 with 1100 sqft basement.

Sounds like I should get ready for a shocker?

Turn down the hydroponics, and dim the grow lights, and you'll be good.

j/k. I'd check for toilet and sink leaks, and these cost you twice--both on water supplied and on sewer charges. Also might want to try some efficient light bulbs and check for heat leaks.

Roughly $220 1700 sq. ft.

are you looking for ways to save?...

what my family did was when theres no one in the house during the day just turn down the heat to 15-17 degrees, and when you come home just turn it back up... i know you can buy a timer to do this for you, i think home depot has it... my family saved like $30 - $40 a month...

I have to cover 40% of the costs where I am now, and I forked out about $170.... but the billing period seemed to span more than a months usage... something like early Dec to mid-late January... :dunno:

Programmable thermostats are pretty cheap and you can also set it to turn down the heat at night as well. I put it in when we 1st got our place, so no idea how much we saved by replacing the original thermostat.

my parents paid around $525 dollars for gas, water, electricity in their 1960's 1000sq foot bungalow. Though, my sister likes to have a show every day that empties the hot water tank...
