R-Audi's is Stage 3 with $15,000 in upgrades. For 10-12k you'll get a bone stock, A4.

I would stay FAR away from the Audi A4 1.8T models from those years.

Nothing but problems. Get a 2.8 if you still want an Audi.

if you do get a 1.8T, my advice to you is to change the timing belt as soon as possible unless you have a record showing it was done recently... why didn't I know that 3 years ago :banghead:

Care to expand or are you basing this on second hand info from years past? I am on my second A4 (first was a 2.8, and currently have a 330hp 1.8T) and havent had one major problem.
If you take care of the car (like any others) it will take care of you.

Timing belt has to be done at certain intervals.. any around 100k should have it done.

Ya I wouldn't listen to him, at least without some first hand knowledge, I own an A4 with the 1.8T, and can say it's truely an amazing engine.

Just a heads up.

Just a heads up.

I'm trying to get a car ASAP... but in the unlikely event that I don't have a car by spring, i'll give you a PM.

Thanks.
