I cannot say I like the new look.

It will be interesting to see if the real version is anything like that photoshop version. As for the hatch, here in NA I can see it selling well for the WRX but not the STi I am sure that subaru will offer the STi in a traditional 4 door here. Just my thoughts

I had thought the same thing but then had come across these on the vortex.

Other subaru news says that they are looking to expand the STi line to more vehicles here in North America, Like say the GT spec B could become the Legacy STi and then the Forester STi. Thats why I cant see them getting rid of the 4 door.

I like the idea of a Legacy and Forester STi

That thing will keep the value of current gen Sti's sky-high for years.

damn...i think Subaru is killin their looks for the impreza series. I didn't like the look of the new 06 STi and now i don't even like the new look of the future ones too. Hopefully Subaru brings back the engineers who made the 04-05 Sti's back. Or even better is if they brought back the 2-dr imprezas series...Nothing would look and drive crazier than a 2-dr impreza with a 300+HP engine in it. Or even better is if they up the engine from a H4 to a H6 like Porsche engines.

Who's gonna shell out $$$ for that ugly thing when the EVO X (which IMO looks much nicer) will be available in Canada?

ok looks like a beefed up mazda 3, should keep the classic 4 door sedan, and would be cool to see a 2 door coupe

In a weird and twisted way, Subaru is quite innovative with their products. People always complain about Subarus being ugly, but sometimes the cars grow on you (WRX), sometimes they don't (Tribeca.)

I think this will end up being the former.

More low to midrange torque? They must be talking about the 2.0L.

Wonder how they will do that on the 2.0L? The European and JDM versions already get the twin scroll, so either they get a smaller turbo or improve AVCS. I hope its the latter, the turbos on the WRX and STI's are already too small now.
