Those look sweet!

Another kind of shoe that works for driving is wrestling boots. I have a pair of them. They're light as hell and comfortable too...definetly feel the pedals better.

Shitty thing with them though is when you walk around with them and you step on a rock you DEFINETLY feel it.

It depends which type you get. :)

With wrestling shoes, there is often a trade-off between durability and sensitivity, and asics has gone downhill with the newer model line-up, they are made so cheap. Adidas are much better now.

You can get a pair ofAsics Baum (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00007220V/qid=1053957517/br=1-12/ref=br_1_12_a/102-7394849-6540939?v=glance&n=1036682) for $30 US, they don't make them anymore, but they are the most durable shoe EVER.

The most sensitive ones I have are the Split Second IV (split soles), from back when Asics were good and they STICTCHED the soles on.

Maybe I should be more specific.

I'll be down there next month, so anywhere between L.A. and Costa Mesa is far enough for me. Gimme some addresses.

Thanks dude!

Sweet! I've been there before, but don't remember seeing the PUMA store.

What's some good restaurants down there? I heard there's a good sushi place down there, called I Love Sushi or something like that. But I can't seem to find any info on it.

Thanks again man!

its an extention of the mall. they built a bridge to connect to it now.

umm u can look around for Todai or Onami those r two good japanese resturants/buffets. next to that mall there is Morton's Steakhouse, reservation black tie, i went there like two times before. hella expensive but good. there is a lot depending on where u go. i know some just depends on what city u going to.

fast food always go to In-N-Out, better than anything out there

I'll be in Santa Ana and Newport Beach most of the time. The only place I'm not familiar with is Costa Mesa. Last time I only got to check out the mall. Asian dining preferably. Cost is not an issue, as long as the food is good!:D I think that's pretty much it.

Oh, In-n-Out rules. Here's the secret menu:

http://www.zenlemur.com/innout.shtml

edit: Is there a Sonic or Krispy Kreme nearby?

Zephyr
05-26-2003, 01:54 PM
if u want asian stuff, u have to go to City of Industry, Rowland Heights and Hacienda Heights. mostly asian ppl there and mostly asian shops. i also live around there lol.

krispy kreme should be everywhere, its almost like starbucks, around each corner lol

newport sucks ass, go to Santa Monica, there is the pier and a HUGE shopping lane.

There aren't any Krispy Creams in Irvine or Coasta Mesa that I could find. I had to go all the way to Anacrime. In and out is some good shit. Their fries aren't the best though.

Their shakes are good, but I get a stomach ache from being lactose intolerant.

I heard that Coasta Mesa mall was designed by some devil worshipper and that it is in the shape of a pentagram.
