Installing safety air bags

Please help me and tell me if saftey air bags can be installed in a non-air bag car???

IF they can I will not be selling my totally pimped out Mustang

Get in a wreck or something? Scared now? There is a whole assload of stuff to be installed with SRS airbags, and I'd rather tape a water balloon to my steering wheel than use 1st gen airbags.
