Better watch out out there! I think someone either tried to jack my wheels or was fucking around and loosened a couple of my lugnuts. I was driving yesterday when all of the sudden, I hear this noise so I pull over and realise two of my lugnuts on my front wheel are gone! Maybe they were just loose?? But all the other wheels were nice and tight, so better watch out out there! BTW, I have a lock on 1 of the 4 bolts on each wheel.

Torque them to the right specs, they probably just loosened off, ot too uncommon..

HAHA, I remember driving behind this older suburban and watching the wheel fly off and go toward on coming traffic! That wheel weights 200 lbs and could have killed someone!

i had that happen to me last year, noticed 2 lugs were missing off one wheel.
i'm not sure about lugs just falling off though...

Its a good idea to check your lug nuts and their torque on a regular basis, its one of the most neglected parts of a car. ;)

But on a side note, there are some stupid f_cks out there that enjoy causing mischeif and taking or loosening lug nuts, ask Ben on here. :banghead:

how do you figure a wheel would "weight" 200lbs?

Came with the car but you can get them at almost any wheel shop.

Have you ever lifted a 8 or 10 ply tire from a 3/4-1 ton truck with the wheel? Try it sometime and you will know what I mean.
