There are no legal s15 in canada, as it is not older than 15 years and therefore illegal

3rd gen rx7 is legal if you have the motor built and the turbos rebuilt. The stock turbos suck for reliability.

once the 3rd gen hits 100,000k, thats the red zone for motor blowup time.

the problem with rx7's are that if you import them chances are
for a rotary its gonna have high km's..which means its likely to grenade withing a couple months of driving it lol maybe sooner maybe later..and as for an s15..yea there is none.lol

(edit:cheeze beat me to it lol)

1) I have no experience with these cars inparticular but have had experience with other higher end japanese cars and they are as reliable as you maintain/drive them

2) you need to do some research on importing a jdm vehicle. as of right now a car has to be 15 years old to import/register/insure/drive here and i haven't yet heard of anyone finding a way around this

Rx7 is good, but you MUST build the motor when it comes here.
Ricefarmer...youre wrong about reliability of rx7...its nature of the 3rd gen to blow around 100,000k...ive seen them as low as 70,000 k

rx7 does NOT get good gas mileage tho.....if you want fast rwd, i would suggest silvia, skyline, 180sx, etc.

just dropped a rb25det into a Laurel Medalist for a customer. that was a fun swap

s14 is 94 and up 240sx

u cant have a s14 rhd silvia, theyre not allowed here

you could get an s14 240sx, then swap in a sr20 and do a front end conversion

i do engine swaps on 240 and i can do the removal and mods on the 3rd gen if you get one

2) As people have stated before me, they're not legal here (unless its for track purposes only).
