Didn't even know he was sick.
Joe Sports (Collin Smith) passed away from leukemia.

He is the sportscaster for Global correct?
I knew that he had leukemia, but I thought that he had beaten it.
Very sad.

He was a legend.
Anyone remember him on Cjay92 doing the Sports (of course) and his weekly movie reviews? Those reviews, every one of them, were classic. Hilarious.
He will always be remembered.

So very sad.
Reminds you of how short life is.
He was a good guy. He will be missed.
I heard about his cancer on Global News a few months ago. It finally caught up to him, RIP Joe Sports.
The guy that did the sports? That's sad....he was the reason why I watched the sports section during the Global news.
RIP

Didn't he make a recent appearance on Global (a couple months back) saying that he had beaten it and will be making a return?
RIP Joey. Now we'll have to listen to Grant Pollock forever.

I remeber him going off the air on the Fan and telling everyone that he had cancer.. it was like woah..And when I heard that he passed yestarday I was shocked. He was one of the best radio jocks he got people talking about the Flames when they werent the hottest ticket in Calgary.. he was great at his job.
I used to love it.. JOOOOOOEEE SPORTS!!!!!!
