I heard that they shot Season 4 already, and it's actually supposed to be an extension of Season 3 (?!?!). Apparently, HBO's been waiting to air the new Entourage episodes til the Sopranos came back (which was delayed because someone broke a leg or something - both shows were supposed to be back this month :( ).

Also, I've heard that the reason they're pairing these two shows is not just a clever ploy to get more viewers, but rather the show is already so popular that its believed (by fans) to become HBOs new flagship series at the end of the Sopranos' run, so the execs totally grooming it to be! How cool is that shit?!

I read an interview with Piven that says there will be more 'Ari'-focussed episodes this year, probably capitolizing on Piven's success at the Golden Globes (?? was it the GGs? I don't remember, but it was one of those stupid awards shows), and the events of the end of Season 3 (???), which suits me just fine; Ari's the best.

I just hope the writing stays fresh, and they don't try to make it "The Ari Show" or somthing shitty like that. As much as I like the charactor, I think all the screen-time should be equal, much like it has been so far.

I saw 2 episodes on Movie Central a couple month back and was hooked. Went to Future Shop that night bought seasons 1 & 2 and watched them all in 2 days haha.

BTW, which channel and time on regular cable? Do they play on Movie Central or what?

Its on Bravo and City I think, but they're still in Season 2, as of a couple weeks ago, so it will be a while before they catch up. I don't have Movie Central.

Im pretty sure downloading a TV episode isnt illegal...its basically like recording it off tv. Downloading movies/games/software however is.

Sure it's illegal! HBO charges money so that people in Canada can watch its shows. They charge Movie Central for the Sopranos and they charge them for Entourage, Deadwood etc... then Movie Central via Shaw or whoever gets money from ME to watch it.

If I were to download the show instead of watching it on Movie Central (which I am not a subscriber), then I have not 'paid' for the privilage to watch it. If I downloaded it but subscribed to Movie Central then that may be forgivable.

Quite frankly, Ari makes that show. It's a good show and all, entertaining as hell, but without Ari it would be kinda on par with any other show on TV these days. His eccentricity makes that show, without a doubt.

I think I read that "Entourage" gets around 3 million viewers per ep but there must be like a million people who download it. It seems like lots of people watch it but wth has Movie Central or HBO?

It's still the best show on TV but it hasn't been as good of late. The second part of Season 3 was awesome but it seems like with Season 4, it's focused on the Medellin boys (Vince, E, Billy) and so Drama and Turtle gotta find some funny shit to do every week. Maybe it's always been like that but it seems more blatant and outrageous now. Not really a complaint, but just a comment.

I agree... the first 3 seasons were about cool cars, partying, hot chicks and just Vince, E, Drama and Turtle with a dose of Ari. The show has definitly taken a turn.

On a side note, I was watching Old School again, such a funny movie. And noticed for the first time (only because I haven't watched it since I started watching entourage) that "Frank the Tanks" wife is actually Ari's wife in Entourage, and of course Jeremy Priven plays the prick Dean of the University.
