Tirecraft Macleod Trail is growing and hiring for the following position(s).
-Full time Licensed Mechanic, as well as general duties.
The ideal applicant(s) would have to be a certified government licensed automotive technician (Alberta or Inter-provincial) with experience with all makes and models, a good understanding of automotive parts (factory and aftermarket), and the ability to learn on the job and be very dependable. This is NOT a temporary position; we are looking for a good team person that can grow with the company. Aftermarket experience is a definite asset, as we sell and install a lot of different components in the “Tunermarket”. The applicant will have to be (if not already) Government certified to do out of province vehicle inspections as well – therefore cannot have a criminal record.
The applicant must be able to apprentice our younger staff have good organizational and leadership skills (help delegate work to others), have patience, and be willing to talk with our clients.
You will be required to drive our customer’s cars, so you must have a driver's license with a clean abstract. The working hours for this position are Mon to Fri 8am-5pm. The hourly wage ranges from $27 to $32 depending on qualifications and abilities.
