Im just surprised it has 4 bids, like who the fuck is that stupid.

Nice car, other than the trunk setup he's got (well, whoever the actual owner of that vehicle is).

i just went through a similar deal for a subie...

They will tell you that they want to use the ebay buyer/seller protection program and protect you upto $20k. then you will get an invoice (shortly after the listing has mysteriously vanished with some story to the effect of "oh someone promised to buy it so I ended it and don't want to re list to avoid the fees"). this invoice will be from bogus ebay email addy that doesn't exist. I am messing with one of these guys now. I have tracked his IP address and am now awaiting him to email me back to tell me to send the Western Union $$ to a 'secure' ebay approved third party to hold the funds until you receive the car. Well I have a brother that lives in the same city as the 3rd party so I am going to have him meet you with cash... hehehe. watch him run for the hills.

If I really wanted I could have a cop go see him as they will send you an address of someone who is involved to send the MO. If you look around ebay motors you can buy almost any car you want for under $10k.

I don't know what you guys are complaining about, seems like a fair price for a car that old. Stop causing trouble for the poor guy........

It will always be easy to scam the idiots. Either with Ebay or without it.

:werd:

Sometime scam artists are pretty darn creative and it's very hard to detect. Then there are guys willing to sell you a house in Malibu for 20 grand on one condition that you wire the money to my swiss account  The idiots that fall for the latter scenario deserve to have their money taken away. I'm sure someone would at least attempt to buy that house thinking it was a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity:rofl:  Sorry Timmy, your college fund was given to some guy in Switzerland, but who knew, he sounded so genuine lol
