my friend said he saw the new wrx sti 'a few months ago' here in streets of seattle.. i am having hard time believing it, he says it was probably imported from japan because they had it earlier, which im also having a hard time believing..
anyone wanna tell me if seein one so long ago was possible?

it was probably just a WRX in the new style, but if somebody had more money than sence, and an itching for JDM power, then i think its possible

It's possible it was an early test mule, or it may very well have been a grey market import given to magazines for testing.

could have been a regular WRX that someone dressed up with STi parts.

other than the 2.5l engine, what is different on the cars?

ACCD, 6-speed tranny, Brembo rotors and calipers, forged BBS wheels, much larger scoop and wing, no radio, ect.

there are quite a few STi's on the road down in the States now.

The first ones at Centaur are in town now, people are taking delivery today. See the 600 other threads about them for more info ;)
