haha, yep, just barely though!...i think we went 4 times, once from a roll, he got the jump on me everytime, but each time i slowly passed him, from anywhere from 70-120..... except for the last time i was getting shitty ass launches too!.......so much for Jeff not having launching skillz! :tongue:

Your MR2 should mash his car off the line, but if your both runnin the same engines, then its upto whomever is lighter and whomever can shift better :)

Thats what i was thinkin, i would have thought i would be ahead off the line, then he would cruise past me. I also had a 200lb passenger( he had his gf, who im guessing is 120).my car feels so much slower off the line with a passenger, it shouldnt be THAT much different, but i know it is.

oh and we have different engines, i have the blue top with 112hp, and his is the J-spec Red top with 140hp, but hes running a Blue top ECU.

me....redtop w/ bluetop ecu.

since im using the bluetop ecu, my engine isnt running at full potential, and also, mr2s have wayyyyyyyy less drivetrain losses than corollas cuz theyre mr vs fr.

fawwwk!! i need to make my car faster still! ive lost to three ppl on this board now! james mr2 is faster than i thought actually, heh the mr2 managed to creep past me by the middle of 4th gear on every run, despite james' grinding and bogging!! argh! i think i need more than mad skillz to beat ppl :(

man ,did that ever piss me off, i grinded into 4th twice!, i was already ahead of you, but still....... i dont think i have EVER grinded into 4th :banghead:.damn premature clutch release!
