I have a geforce 6600, I want to have 2 lcd's hooked up, each running a different resolution.
I thought I could do this in the past, but that was with an ati card I think and maybe the resolutions weren't different.
anyway, is this possible? I want to run my main display at 1920x1200 and a 2nd lcd at 1280x1024.
if its possible, I have no idea how to get it working, I'm forced to use this nvidia control panel crap.

I'm running winxp and ive already been to 4 of the first page results from your search previous to my posting.
none had the answer.
You can't use the 'settings' tab in the windows display properties? That's how i set mine, you just select each monitor independantly then use the slider to change the resolution....

the option wasn't there.
but i manged though one of the things I tried, to enable that option and disable some nvidia stuff after a reboot.
so now the option is there again and I have got it working
the things I tried were to disable some services and change a registry setting (although i think that wasn't the one that did it)
so...windows display settings > nvidia gaypanel.
