Been sitting in my garage for about 2 years now and it's taking up room I don't have anymore.
It was the original engine in my 1991 si. It had about 223 000kms on it. The head is gone and so is the pan because I need it for my turbo project.
The engine went thru 3 quarts of oil a week and I was told the head was rebuilt at 167 000kms because the timing belt ripped.
I am guessing it has bad piston rings.
That being said it still ran when pulled.
The shortblock comes with a huge plastic bin for transportation as well as a few random bolts and a healthy amount of oil that's just been sitting there.
Great for a rebuild!
