I missed it, but I still can't believe they name it "The Black Donnelly's" I am shocked they used that name. Although I am sure there are tons of people that have no idea of the actual story, it's an interesting read, although the details very from book to book.

The Donnelly name to this day a big deal in Lucan, ON. Even though the massacre was in the 1880's it's a very sore spot for anyone living on or near the Roman Line. My family owns a century farm there and most of my family are buried at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.



I can't believe that they named this show the Black Donnelly's. It's been such a dark cloud over Lucan ON since it all happened, which was in 1880. People living there still don't like to talk about it.

Didn't watch the show but will probably download the episode.

I've been watching this show... However I missed last nights episode, and from my understanding it was actually the 4th episode. 3rd episode was apparently too graphic for network tv... it was put on the website, but apparently only people in the US can watch it.

I found a spot to download the real 3rd episode, I'll post the link if it actually works.

Yeah, I have a feeling it'll get cancelled eventually. They don't seem to promote it much, which is a real shame. It's one of the few shows I actually follow religiously.

I liked the pilot for this show but thought it slid downhill pretty fast. I can't watch the show anymore but it sucks that shows don't really get much of a chance anymore.

they lost any viewers they had in the first half hour of the pilot .. i was going to turn it off as well but didnt .. so now they have shitty ratings .. i knew it was going to happen .. oh well .. the last couple of episodes havent been that great either

total gayness on NBC's part. The Black Donelly's rock!!!!! First the bad news that the Sopranos is on it's final season and now this........

I don't know how much more reality show and game show shit i can take....I hope that some other network has seen the potential in The Black Donelly's and will pick them up.....PLEASE GOD PLEASE!!!!!!!

Don't know why they can't cancel the bachlor, search for next pussycat doll, top model and blah blah instead.....

^^ those shows arent even on nbc lol .. :dunno: it was expected .. had shitty ratings .. not nbc fault .. it was the way they started the show .. no one wanted to watch ... deal or no deal is the same shit over and over again but it pulls in viewers and has great ratings .. so thats why its on .. well i guess i will replace black donnellys and prison break on mondays with drive .. lets see if it will last :dunno:

1st - NBC are IDIOTS for putting this show on a Monday - there's the CBS lineup and if that's not bad enough they got 24 to compete with too. Lots of casual TV watchers only watch one show a day or something to that extent. There's other days they could and should have put this on.

2nd - The first show was TERRIBLE. It made absolutely no sense - just because I had 5 of the first eps DLed I stuck through it and started to really love the show after the 4th ep when you understood everything.

3rd - Jenny is so beautiful - first she teases us by being a lesbian on the OC then disappearing...now she's a married slut in a show that's cancelled. No fair :thumbsdow

oilerfan, the reason they put it on monday at 10 is to get the spillover from their two biggest hits of the year, Deal or No deal and Heroes.
