I just swapped out the tired old 305 with a GM 350 crate motor in my 1983 (CA emssions) Sierra. Can't seem to get the timing right and the engine runs around 200-220 degrees. I went with an Edelbrock intake and everything else is stock. The engine runs fairly well otherwise. I did this swap by myself, this is my first indepth endeavor like this. Really would like some help.
