WTB: '67 + VW Baja Beetle or Dune Buggy

My dad and I are looking for a little project to work on this spring seeing as I will be moving in the fall.

We are looking for a 1967 + VW Baja Beetle in decent condition.
Requirements:
- Good frame
- Decent mechanical condition. We can handle minor stuff but would prefer to stay away from major issues.
- Good suspension
- Standard transmission
- shitty body (its going to be scrapped anyways)

Looking to pay about $1500

We will also consider partially finished/in need of work/complete dune buggies.
- Body condition isn't extremely important as I can do fiberglass/sheet metal.
- Decent mechanical condition, same deal as the beetle: minor issues ok, major issues no

Only willing to spend about $2000 on this one.

Incase we find one locally, we will be in need for the fiberglass dune buggie body. Let me know if you know where we could locate one.
