well i just lowered my car about a month ago and my OEM shocks in the rear blew up within just two weeks

now i am looking for aftermarket shocks for all 4 corners and found out that Koni is the ONLY manufacturer that makes aftermarket shocks for the 2001-up civics. the problem is that the front koni's will have to be integrated into the OEM shock housing.
which means its a pain in the ass to do and big bucks for a professional installation. (this is the same case for all RSX owners too)

so im just wondering if anyone on beyond with 7th gen civics or RSX's have done this (shop owners too) and if so, how much?

thx for any advice/suggestions:thumbsup:

^nope, just springs. 2" in the rear and 1.8" in the front.

How is it hard, i just did it.. All you have to do is switch the top hats and drill out the bushings.. make sure you have drill press though, or your in for alot of work..

your in the same situation as me, except i don't have a 7th gen :)
my stock shock in the rear blew after replacing it with new SiR rear shocks, so i ordered KYB AGXs today. Its hard to believe that koni would be the only manufacturer to make shocks for you car though..
