this is an amazing product, I;ve only owned this for 1 month and its great unfortunately I need the cash, I still have owners manuals etc if you need them, this makes a great addition to your system

Most screens dont come with DVD and will run you an additional $500 to put one in plus you will require either another slot to put it in or use your glove compartment to house the other dvd.

MSRP $1699 US for just the DVD/Screen
and $450 US for the processor

Selling for $1450CAD

I think the processor is so that you can use all the speakers around the car.
If you didnt have one, then you could only use the front 2 speakers in your car...
I read this on the Pioneer website, a processor for the panasonic should act the same way.
Sorry if im wrong.

don't settle for just a screen get one with a DVD player, this unit is capable of doing so much including have a GPS system, it has RCA inputs allowing you to hook up VCR, PS2, XBOX, Gamecube

I COULD be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that using the prcessor allows you to operate in dolby digital 5.1 surround mode, so that each speaker gets a different signal, and allows for a center channel up front and an imdependant subwoofer signal, it makes your car as close to home theater sound as you can get. without it your just running a 2 channel system, L and R and the sub just takes the lows from the two.
