how is ignition timing set in a 1992 honda civic.. what i mean is electronically advanced or retarded??

how it relates to me is that im turbocharging my honda, and i understand that i have to retard ignition timing to run safely.. but what about off-boost sitiuations? is there a way to adjust timing based on different rpm and boost situations? is hondata/uberdata/crome able to do that? is it something that a dyno tuner can do?

thanks, i searched honda-tech but came up with nothing

You set your timing to stock and your hondata or uberdata does the rest. The timing is electronically retarded in a step retard method, meaning it will retard a certain set degree for every pound of boost you put in. ie 1 or 1.5 degree /lbs
