He'll be back

I think this was the series where his old sidekick Bucky actually was a brainwashed assassin w/ the russian government (or something like that)

This is like Death of superman. If you remember they killed him off and then They brought him back. I think they will do the same with Captain America.

The Death of Superman would actually make a very good movie ;) christ the first 20-30 minutes would be a slugfest with him vs doomsday! lol

I think thats the problem of making a superman movie, is you cant really pit him against a real opponent since he's basically indestructible... but the harder he hit doomsday the stronger doomsday got :D

they had them on ebay, the two variable covers going for over $100US when it first came out. It's died down a bit.

Yeah, sorta sad to see such an iconic character die.

For those that are interested, the "Civil war" comics are pretty interesting, i just got through the first 8 of like 80+ lol.

Synopsis is the government wants to implement a program where ALL superheroes need to register themselves to the government with their real names and their alias's.

Of course the dilemma w/ this is how secure is the government and how often has the information gotten to villains.

That being said obviously the identities of heroes are at stake.

However half the heroes who are open about "who they are" (The Fantastic 4 and what not) are all for it. This group is led by iron man (i believe)
whereas "vigilante heroes" like spiderman, wolverine, etc are opposed to it are led by Captain America.

Its probably one of the most political series i've read and its pretty feckin sweet :D
