What would the normal (average) price be for a head gasket replacement from a repair shop? The engine is a Toyota 22R carberated from a 1990 pickup.
I'm deciding whether or not the truck is worth fixing. Also, if there are any mechanics who moonlight out of their backyard and can do it for a cheap price, shoot me a PM.
I'm also thinking of doing it myself, but finding the time is the hard part considering the time line that I'd like to get it done in.
