Anyone work at IKEA?

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy an "island" for the kitchen, from Ikea. They have some event going on that alows you to get a gift certificate when you get kitchen stuff (this week). I'm just wondering if anyone here, works there, and if you'd be able to hook up a fellow beyonder with a discount?:)

That would defeat the entire purpose of the promotion.... to get you to come back and purchase more items.

Technically, it wouldn't defeat the purpose of the promotion. I doubt they care if you chose to subtract 100 dollars from what you bought (considering you bough enough to recieve the $100 gift card) or that you chose other random stuff from within the store, to spend the credit on.
Anyways, anyone got any hookups? Going in on Monday :)
