Dont know if I should put this in here or in the videos section but this seems really useful for making those college papers longer.

size 12 period to size 14. Just pushes the letter a bit further right. I used to do this every now and then.

Another trick that I used to use was, two lines between paragraphs instead of one. It is surprisingly not that noticeable and over the length of a paper can make a difference. I used to get almost a page extra length from a 9-10 page length paper.

A buddy of mine used to slightly make his margins bigger. I never tried it, but he said it worked.

verdana size 11 is another subtle trick. it looks smaller than times new roman, but somehow ends up using more space.

Good find. However some profs require that you email in your essay and then they do a word count (for essays specifying word count instead of pages).

I've never had a problem meeting the minimum requirements for length, but I've had many problems meeting the max. requirements though. I wonder if it works the same way with size 10 font to save space instead.

Actually, I think I'm completely opposite of what you're claiming. A smarty pants would know how to write a paper efficiently, thereby eliminating those extra tedious words that I inadvertently add. This paragraph is the perfect example of that! :D
