Haha my brother put his summers on yesterday. We all told him it was too early and that it was supposed to snow, but he figured it'd be a little flurry and then melt away again. Haha you should hear the amazingly colorful wishes he has for Paul Dumphry (sp?) this morning. Serves him right though!

It ALWAYS snows in March. A Lot. And heavy snow.
Summers wheels go on in May. Winters on in October.
On my last car they didn't go on until the gravel was gone.

I put my summers on today, and holy fawk was it slick out there. Now that the suns out though, the roads are not all icy, but keeping a clean windshield, and even passing on deerfoot safely with all the spray (the road is a wading pool at the moment) is a bitch right now.

I think you guys were rather stupid to put those things on so early in the season. Its still WINTER for gods shake. At least you got punished for it, haha.

Then again. I kinda have a grudge. Cause last year some idiot, put his summers on and drove during a snow storm like this morning. he managed to lose control on Crowchild while switching lanes and hitting a rental I was in for... guess what, some other idiot running into the back end of my prelude 2 weeks prior. He also put his summers on and lost tractions. that happened on crowchild too.... So all in all, I think anyone who puts their summers on in winter is an idiot... Have some fucking patients. Summers just around the corner.

pisses me off!!! i didnt put my summers on but it was liek 15 degrees and then 3 hours later is snowing then u wake up and there is 10 inches of snow on my car.. i was like FUCK!!

I'm only pissed because it reminded me how bad calgary drivers are. I was on my way to school this morning when some lady in a beetle decided to stop on a narrow turn without notice, to wave me through first. I decided to turn around right then so I wouldn't have to put up with any more suspect drivers.

I don't know which weather report you're checking but I remember on CFCN even last week David Spence said that come Monday of next week (i.e. yesterday) it's going to get colder and we'll see flurries. Now this is Calgary and that report could change in 5 minutes but like others said, it's March in Calgary. It's pretty much guaranteed that we'll see a dump and probably one in April as well!

i think everyone is the same here, we pray to god that maybe this march we wont have a stupid snowfall to remind us how random calgary's weather is. And then we are all happy with the nice warm weather and then it hits us, our worst nightmare, the thing we prayed against. yesterday morning i checked on www.theweathernetwork.com. clicked on 14 day forcast and it said it was gonna be sunny the whole 14days..i think 1 day was in the -'s.

I'm not pissed..in fact, I love snow...as long as it's not -40, it's all good. Despite the fact the truck doesn't have winter tires, gotta love 4x4! It's really the aftermath that pisses me off, when everything melts and it's just like a giant slurpee outside..and the damn rocks, got a chip on the windshield yesterday. Fortunately, we put 3m on the front bumper and fenders last Saturday, but can't wash it until the film sets in at the end of this week.
