Hey all. I know I'm not from Canada, but this actually looks like quite a decent group of folk. Not to mention some good knowledge on here, so I figured I'd join. A little info about my ride:

Engine (LL0)
-Beru/Kingston 8.5mm plug wires
-Bosch plugs
-TechEdge 2B0 WBO2
-MegaSquirt EFC
-A/C removed and non-ac belt put on (no mock pulley)
-AEM Short Ram WAI
-OBX Header
-OBX Downpipe
-2.25" Magnaflow Carsound catalytic converter
-2" HKS cat-back exhaust

Suspension
-KYB GR2 Gas struts
-H&R sport springs, 1.3"/1.2" (overall, I got 1.5" around)
-Stock dogbones with prothane inserts
-EarthShaker TAM (experimental)
-Energy Suspension Bushings
-17.5mm 4-way adjustable rear swaybar
-E-bay special FSTB
-16x7 Motegi MR8's
-205/50/16 BFG Traction T/A

Brakes
-Rear disc conversion
-Hawk HPS pads
-Stainless steel braided brake hoses

Exterior
-10% tint all around

Lighting
-Silverstar lowbeams
-Silverstar highbeams/DRLs
-Silverstar mirror signal bulbs

Interior
-Tenzo Racing rally seats

Sound
-Some Sony Chameleon headunit. I may have even spelled it wrong.
-4 6" Pioneer 3-way speakers
-2 12" Rockford Fosgate HX2's
-Kenwood KAC-9152D Amp (dead?)

In progress is a fully ported head swap (need a new header to mate with the downpipe, and a set of cams), and the manual swap (need time to do it. Already have the parts)

Some pics (it looks like it sits high, but it really doesn't):

Thanks. I've spent a lot of time trying to keep the car clean. That muffler doesn't help at all...I hate the look of it, but it's so much deeper than I thought it would be, so I can't complain.

No 2jz is complete without NASSSSSS. ;)

Shit, I hope I didn't make you guys think I made that.

It's not mine, and no one has ever claimed it. I found it awhile back and have just been using it. It's a shame no one put a tag on it.

A lot of people get stunned looks on their faces. I'm not going to claim that it's the fastest thing, but for what it is, it's damn surprising.

Ok, this is going to be hard to believe but just listen.

I never dyno'd the thing, though I've wanted to. I can only get a decent tune on it due to my trans going on its way out. I know, sounds like a bad excuse, but it was the reason for my manual swap to go into progress. We (the saturn tuners), found the autotragic transmission to fail at 200whp. Mine is just starting to take a crap, so I'd estimate myself to maybe be hitting 140ish whp. Granted, that doesn't sound like a lot. Stock they come 120tq/124bhp. They dyno out stock to be about 94whp with autotragic. Once you figure in hp/weight ratio's, you start coming up with some insane ratios. The S-series has a great benefit: It's light, weighing in at 2125lbs, and it's very safe. It has a really bad problem though: It's light, weighing in at 2125lbs. At 5psi turbo, they have run 13's. At just under 400whp, they run 15's at over 130mph. (sorry, USA measurements.)

The last time I ran it at the track, it was trackside 165 Farenheit (SORRY!), 99% humidity in december. My mods at the time were just boltons, I didn't have the lightweight rims on (24lb steelies w/o tires), and some old firestone affinities that had been way past their lifespan (I have pics). I had to roll through the waterbox, and ended up not being able to dry the tires off before going. I ran a 17 at a little over 90mph, while spinning through all of first, second and some of third. NOT due to power, but due to horrible tires and water. I smoked almost the entire track, and it became a running joke between a bunch of my friends.

I know, it sounds like excuses. It's the truth. I know that it should be in the low 15's easy. I've beaten mid 15 cars with ease from a stop with drivers that have obtained the numbers. From a roll, my car is even faster..my power seems to be more top end. At the track, for some reason, it's not the case. It's like the car is like "Oh forget this shit." *runs like shit*.

Anyway, with the swap, I should gain a lot more power. I can pull up the ratios again so I can show you what I'm swapping to. It's got slightly longer gearing, because I'm prepping for a turbo build with another block. (forged goodies), but I won't have nearly as much drivetrain loss through fluid couplings. There seems to be almost a 2 second difference in quarter mile times between auto and manual.

Sorry to bust your bubble dude but i dont think that some exhaust, ac eliminate, intake, wires, etc netted you 40hp+. And 2125lbs??? No chance in hell, so youre telling me that your 4-door family sedan only weighs a couple hundred lbs more than a lotus elise? And 24lb steelies are NOT light. My heavyass 18x10.5" Z06 rims weigh that much. And the part about 400fwhp saturns running 15s at 130mph... yea.... no. im sure you didnt mean 15s, but theres no way a 400whp car is trapping 130mph. And 165 fahrenheit trackside in december in PA!??? Are you trying to get flamed?

And for the record I would LOVE to see a saturn spinning its wheels in third gear, especially one pushing 100whp.

I knew someone was going to say something.

I hit a wrong key. 2325, I mean. And yes, it weighs that little.

I know 24lb steelies aren't light. That's what I said. Reread that part.

You called the slip error. I definitely messed that up hardcore, because I went and looked it back up. Left side:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v614/Grolthok/car%20stuff/slipone.jpg

If you'd like, I could prove the temp easily as well.

And I have plenty of video proof of saturns spinning well into 5th, but I'll ignore that and attack the one more directed at my car:
Affinites after track day:
http://tsnhosting.net/99sl2_modder/My%20Car%20Pics/First%20Flat/flat-tire.jpg

http://tsnhosting.net/99sl2_modder/My%20Car%20Pics/First%20Flat/thingofdoom.jpg

http://tsnhosting.net/99sl2_modder/My%20Car%20Pics/First%20Flat/notreadandahole.jpg

That was an audi skidplate rivet.

I don't have a problem with being called out. I quite often remember things incorrectly. I don't intentionally do it.

I'll get proof of trackside temp in a few minutes.

As for the horsepower, it's a guess. Don't forget, it's not just boltons now. If it were, I'd be guessing much more, but I'm guessing (after full tune) 140 at the wheels. I know my phrasing earlier looked like I was saying 140 without being fully tuned and just the seat of my pants tune, but I doubt that my halfassed attempt to drive and tune is that great. I think faster than I type, so I don't type everything that I mean to. Happens, but I expect people here to catch on and call me on it. Which is good. I'm in no means trying to blow smoke up your asses.

Got the car for extraordinarily cheap. Did little quick fix things to it, and realized it was easy to work on. I started to read up on a few things, and it's a really good platform to work with. It doesn't have much aftermarket at all, but that just means more things need to be customized.

I'm looking into picking up a mustang too, since the guy blew a head gasket and doesn't want to pay the money to fix it.
