for the guys running a test pipe on their S2, has anyone successfully solve the secondary O2 CEL? I've tried both DIY and j's non fouler mechanical approach to no avail, makes me wonder if I simply have faulty sensor.

Thanks, seems this one will require me switching out the connector piece, plus they are not available, which kinda blows. I tried searching/Google for a Honda specific one (square connector) but not having any luck...

Even running a dual defouler setup, I was still getting codes. I eventually gave up, and just disabled them using hondata flashpro.

I looked into that aswell, but mine is an 05, my understanding is that flash pro only works on 06+. As much as like to run the test pipe, the CEL is driving mad...

Yep, flashpro is DBW only, so 06+. You could have an exhaust shop weld in an HFC?

I run a t1r testpipe with this style o2 fix and never got any codes. i think i had to extend o2 wires though since it moves the sensor quite a bit further away

Hmm, i tried it with the "L" type, almost similar to the picture and only worked for a few seconds, maybe I'll try it again with a new sensor... Can't believe no has come up with a more permanent/guaranteed fix for year 05 and less

Also, passively looking for a large FSB, and potentially some coilovers.

Anyone selling or know someone selling an S2K? Looking for a "mechanic's special" type where it's excellent mechanically but I don't mind if there is some dings and whatnot aesthetically.

They are remaking them. Talk to ICB Motorsports down in the states. 18" Regas are being produced now and 17" Regas are going to follow shortly.

Does anyone have a set of OEM side strakes? I lost one on the highway the other day and need to find a replacement; or have the body shop repair the hole left on the side skirt.

Anyone have a set of VOLK CE28 or TE 37's that they would want to part with.

Hoping to find a set that fit a 2002 S2000 without modification.

Need to be in mint shape, open to with or without tires and want to find a set in bronze.

How are you liking your S2k and are you lowering it at all? S2k spec Volks seem to pop up quite often, should be easy to track those down.

Didn't get to drive mine nearly enough this past year.

You have the exact setup I wanted (color and wheels). There was a 2001 yellow car with low KM's and bronze TE37's but the seller was hard to work with.

S2000 has always been a car I wanted to own. To me it is more fun to drive than the NSX but always wanted to own both.

I will probably order a set of Ohlin's next year but hesitant to modify it too much. I've driven my car less than 25 Km since buying it. Suspect it won't get out much like yours.

You got red, right? That was my second choice colour, S2k looks good in red or yellow IMO.

I got a pretty good deal on HKS Hyper Max coilovers but yea Ohlins would have been ideal. You planning any other mods or just keep it stock?

Yeah, ended up with a red one.

I planned to keep it stock as I wanted it to have some collector appeal down the road.

I did look at the SOS Turbo kit though which is quite interesting....

Picked this up late in the summer. 01, all stock except T1R exhaust and ducktail spoiler. Bought it with about 95k on it, quite clean for the age with only a couple loose ends I'd like to tie up (previous owner was really hard on the front lip). Haven't got it out a ton either, but it's an absolute blast to drive. If anyone has a line on a stock AP1 exhaust, let me know cause I'd really like to find one.

Yeah it was something I noticed after I purchased it, I’ve read about it on s2ki, and these guys made a video outlining it here: https://youtu.be/rJmCg61MOFE

Basically you cut out the divider that’s in the stock box, and use a chunk of it to plug off the resonator which gives extra VTEC sound. I don’t know if it makes much difference in reality but the VTEC crossover is quite noticeable, especially going up hills! Oh and it has one of those passwdjdm cooling plates as well.

Having just sold my BRZ and my JZA80 I’m having a blast with this, my first Honda :)

what kind of mileage?

I saw an original owner 2008 (chicane silver with black leather) with 68,000 km and a hardtop listed for 33k and I believe it sold for 30k a few months ago. I had a look at the car and it was really nice, but the drivers seat bolster showed more wear than others I have seen with similar mileage.

I actually wonder if mileage matters as much so long as proper maintenance is followed. Certainly for collectors prices I could S.E. why, but it’s a Honda, use the right fluids, do the right upkeep and I suspect a car over 100k would not bother me at all.

Mileage matters. I sold my 2007 with 33,000km for over $37k this year. I had it listed on here.

That seems fairly consistent. When you get above 60k km they get into the high 20's to low 30's, then above 100k km they get into the low to mid 20's in my view. The year and colour seems to cause a variation to these prices. If you want a good perspective they are sold quite regularly on BAT, so you can see what they sell for there.

Seems like asking prices are still in the mid to high 20's for cars with higher mileage but the low mileage cars seem to be between 30k and 35k. Almost seems like better value to snag one with 25,000km on it for 34k vs one with 100,000km on it for 28k if you are planning on keeping it bone stock.

I think it comes down to the intended use I would say. If you are going to put on the miles, I would say get a higher mileage one that has good service history.

If you aren't driving it that often then certainly a low mileage one. It's just my opinion that I think we are seeing peak prices right now. I don't see them climbing much more at least for another decade when most of them become classic cars. Even then, I don't think it will be significant like NSX prices have done.

From what I've seen you can easily add $4-$5k for an OEM hardtop if its included.

And any decent condition S2k is easily being priced around the $28-32k mark (give or take a couple thousand) depending on mileage, condition and if its been modified.

If you see anything sub 50k km's in the low $30k range don't sit on it too long.
