I recently picked up a Canon photo printer (iP3000) for a song, and it tells me it needs a new print head, part# QY6-0042 or QY6-0064. That fits the Canon i560, i850, Pixma ip3000, Canon MultiPASS MP700, MP730, Canon SmartBase MP700, MP730.
Does anyone know if there's a place in town that might carry that part? They're ~$70 from Ebay, but I'd like to buy locally if possible.
(Also, if anyone happens to have a broken printer that's one of the above models that I could scavenge the print head from, that would be awesome. I know, it's a long shot! :D )
