The sub woofer in the back of my 2001 I30t and ive tried tightening the screws but it keeps shaking. Anyone ever have this problem and how do you fix it?

BTW: its a stock subwoofer and i havent done anything to it so it doesnt have a box or anything.

You mean that the sub is rattling in it's mount? I'm going to guess so.

Lots of times they mount stock subs into poor locations. My guess is that you have over-tightened the screws and have gradually stripped the threads out. This can happen in plastic especially, but metal too. There are a couple of solutions, including drilling out holes and adding larger screws, using a larger self-tapping sheet metal screw, building a new backing out of MDF, or replacing it entirely.

You may also be sending too much power to it. Try adjusting your bass levels until it stops shaking.

Sorry I can't be more helpful, but if you could be a tad more descriptive I might be able to offer more insight.
