Someone who knows how to work on a 95 Sonoma S10, does fair and decent work, and is willing to work for ~45/hr.

Anyone know of any backyard or on-the-side guys?

If she wants to sell it, let me know. Actually take it to Advantage Ford (my old workplace from many years ago) and ask for Monty to work on it, as he's definately one of the best mechanics in Calgary, its nuts.
Or go to Woodridge Ford (where my former shop foreman now works) and ask for Len Rae, he's very very honest and gifted when it comes to mechanical skill.

That would take about 10 mins to do yourself. I bet your mom could do it.
