If you use racing seats/belts in a car with out a roll cage/bar and you roll the car you're fucked. The roof will collapse and you wont beable to bend over and avoid having your head crushed.

that came out of nowhere....but yeah...that only happens on cheap cars...on super high performance top end cars like my neon that would be unheard off

its only the harness that restricts ur movement but usually you sit like 4" lower than with stock seats so I wouldnt expect to have to duck a roof thats caving in when sitting in racing seats...maybe im just stupid

I've got Sparco Evo 2s, one in the Subaru and one in the Mustang now. Best mod you can do to a car that is going to get driven hard on the track or at solo 2s, etc. With a proper race harness your feeling of connection to the car is improved 1000x. You no longer have to fight to stay in place on the seat, you can concentrate on driving and the feedback the car is giving you. I've found the Evo 2s to be quite livable for day to day driving as well, very comfortable even on long trips.

well as of now I have no seats. I do plan on buying a Bride Brix and then just a cheper reclinable racing seat for the passenger. I can't justify spending 1500 or so on a passenger seat;) Sparcos Torinos and Milanos suck BTY oh and so do all bucket seats. HEHE

If it's for show, depending how the rest of your interior looks, you can get your stock seats re-upholstered for a more "custom" look.

I'm not sure you know what you are talking about. Has this ever happened to you or are you just repeating what you heard someone say?

Justify your statement and enlighten me... otherwise :bullshit:

A real newbie question but generally are racing seats more snug fitting than stock seats?

Fuji and I have Momo Acropolis seats. I think that that is the best mod that I have done for my car. It changed the way the whole car felt. Nothing better to have if you like to push your car to the limit!

I got Dual Sparco's. I love em, not the best mod I made for the car but damn they look sexy. You know you got a serious modder when you peek over and see the stitching of a racing seat. I have a couple of buddies who work out a lot and they cant sit back because their lats wont fit. Sucks to be them I guess

i just put the Tenzo Rally's in my ITR and luv them, lots of support and they are comfortable, fully reclinable, and easier to get in and out of than momo, sparco, etc. Not overly expensive either, contact me for more info, I'll hook u up with a pair

for the larger people, corbeau has seats that will fit a person around a 40" waist...

I'm kinda wishy-washy on seats. Like, my stock civic seats are perfect for me. To me, unless you're hardcore on the road and track, seats are mostly just for aesthetics.
