Feels cheap but looks better than the old one. Seats were very horrible. Looking forward to checking out the X though.

I loved it personally, you get a lot for $23,000 or whatever. I also thought Mitsubishi really kicked up the interior quality a ton. Its way above anything American and everything seemed put together very well. That was my impression anyways.

what do you guys think...the mazda 3 gt (156hp/ $26000) or the lancer (150hp/ $? this would be the highest end lancer)
which would you choose? we're in the process of buying a new car.

if those are the choices i'll go for the lancer just bec. of the warranty if that is important to you. they are almost the same car by the looks, power and price!

Interior is improved but still isn't satisfying, and omg are the side bolsters on the seats cheap.

I agree the seats sucked but I liked most everything else. I also think it could of used ~170HP instead of 150.

It's uglier than I thought it should be. Interior is better but still behind most competitors.

I thought it was a good change from the previous styling. I agree with someone above stating it is fairly large. But i still thought it looked really good for being fully loaded and just under 25K, talking about the Lancer on the floor at the Auto show.

Looks like a pretty large step up in features from the ES to the GTS for not a huge amount of money.

As much as I love the new Lancer I only see three upsides to this car:

-great warranty
-great exterior (IMO at least)
-best speakers around everything in that segment
